Dogs

Dogs should be allowed on buses because they can be helpful for blind people. They can led the blind people on and off the bus. I am a wee bit scared of big dogs.

'Saturn is very cold' said Marcus. It has rings around it made of ice, dust and rocks added Ben.

We learned that Jupiter has 60 moons and it has 3 rings. Miss Smith gave us an orange balloon
and you can pretend it is a planet. Jupiter is the king planet said Oscar, it has a pink sky.
Rocks hit planets and make holes called craters said James. There are 8 planets in our solar
system but there used to be 9.

We had a fantastic day.

Our Inquiry Learning - The Sun, The Moon and Space

We have been having a fantastic time extending our knowledge of the solar system and are looking forward to our special space day on Tuesday when we find out about the things astronauts experience and do in space. We are also going to be investigating some of the planets in the solar system in lots more detail.

Please take a few minutes to look at the displays in the cloakroom area as they show case the children's fabulous work and learning about the moon. The children loved the moon project. A big thank you to Mr. Baggaley who worked with a busy team on the giant moon!

Lots of children have brought in books and space objects to show the class - keep them coming team!
